Rust 2023 Easter Egg Hunt Explained

The Easter Egg Hunt in Rust is a part of the 2023 Easter event, which will last from April 6th to April 27th. The goal is to collect as many painted eggs as you can. You can transform ten of those eggs into a Bronze Egg. Ten Bronze Eggs can become a Silver Egg, and ten of those into a Gold Egg. More about them in the next section.

Now, the painted eggs emit a golden glow that’s super-easy to see in the dark, so I recommend collecting them at night. You can click and hold the shoot button to pick them up faster. To make the process even more expedient, be sure to obtain the Egg Basket from a Bronze Egg as soon as possible. Having that allows you to instantly collect the eggs which, by the way, respawn in anywhere between twenty-four and forty-eight in-game hours. Now for the important part – the prizes.

My painted eggs are in groups of 5 and I cannot combine them to make 10 in order to upgrade.
