Fix PS5 CE-107880-4 Error Code
The PS5 Error Code CE-107880-4 is one of the most annoying errors that you can get on the PlayStation 5. This error occurs when you are downloading a game update – often in the form of DLC. Instead of simply downloading and installing the update, you’ll get the “Something went wrong” message and this process will fail and you won’t be able to update the game. But is there anything you can do to fix the Fix PS5 CE-107880-4 Error Code? Thankfully, there is, and we are going to explain this method right here.
How to Fix PS5 CE-107880-4 Error Code
First, from the PS5 Dashboard, go to Settings and then select Storage, followed by Console Storage. Go to Games and Apps and see if there is an unknown add-on here. If there is, remove it. You should now be able to download the correct update or DLC from the Manage Game Content menu. If this hasn’t worked, then the problem could be down to the license. Start by restarting the console. Go to the library and double-check to see if the DLC has been purchased (in case this is a missing DLC). And if that is indeed the case, then go to Dashboard > Settings > Users & Accounts> Other > Restore Licence.
One final thing to try is to download the DLC directly from the PlayStation Store. Log into PlayStation.com and sign into your account there. From there, navigate to My PlayStation > Game Library, select the game and the DLC for it and then press Download. Finally, select which PS5 console you want to download this to and the download should then start. And if none of these have worked, then there’s nothing left except to wait until Sony have fixed this issue on their end. Hopefully, you won’t have to wait too long for this to happen.
