How to Avoid Getting Cold at Night in Palword

If you are a crafting-survival genre veteran, you know that aside from being hungry, the very first thing you will probably have to deal with is the cold weather. And things are mostly the same in Palworld. As the Sun goes down and things go dark, the game will inform you that you’re being cold. Those few rags your character is probably wearing are absolutely not enough. However, the game only tells you that you are cold and puts a frosty overlay on the screen. It doesn’t actually tell you what you need to do in this situation. Luckily for you, we’re here to help!

How to Get Warm in Palworld

  • The best and the easiest solution is to stand near a campsite, which will get you warm in Palworld. There’s one at the start of the game, you will spot it easly.
  • In addition, if you want to get warm while moving, you should craft a Hand-held Torch. For it, you will need 2x Wood and 2x Stone. We recommend doing this as soon as possible, as it will allow you to explore Palworld at night without getting cold.
  • You can also craft your own Campfire, for which you will need 10x Wood. It’s one of the first things you will want to create in your camp, ideally before the night falls.
  • You’ll also want to wear some warmer stuff. Hence, crafting the Tundra Outfit should be a priority. Unlock this outfit in the Technology menu, find some Lamballs and collect Wool. Then, craft 2x Cloth in order to create the Tundra Outfit. Each unit of Cloth requires 2x Wool.
  • Finally, you should equip your camp with Mounted Torches. These torches will provide you with a light source but will also keep you warm while you are walking around your base. A single Mounted Torch requires 5x Wood and 2x Stone.
