How to Remove Mindfraggers From Soldier’s Face in Phoenix Point?

To remove Mindfraggers from a soldier’s face in Phoenix Point, the ideal solution is to use a Technician. They have the ability to remove Mindfraggers safely, so that really is by far the best option. However, if the Technician is down (or worse, have a Mindfragger themselves), you’ll have to resort to more drastic measures. Specifically, you’ll have to either shoot them off, or peel them off using melee. Melee is probably the better of two options, but it’s not always possible, since you have to come close to pull it off.

If push really comes to shove, and you absolutely have to shoot a Mindfragger off a soldier, we have a tip for you – use a single shot weapon. They give you more precision, and you’re gonna need it. Otherwise, you’ll run the risk of wounding or even killing your own guy. To be fair, that’s what you might end up having to do, as Mindfraggers control their victims. However, do try and avoid that. If you at all can, remove the Mindfragger, even by shooting. Just do your best to not outright kill the person you’re trying to save.

So, that’s about it when it comes to removing Phoenix Point Mindfraggers. If you know any other method, feel free to share in the comments. And, if you need more help, check out our Phoenix Point Save Game Locations – Where to Find Save Files guide. There are more to come, too.
