So, how can you start playing the Sins of the Flesh update in Cult of the Lamb? It’s actually rather easy. Unlike some previous updates, this one integrates directly into the base game. That is, all the new content, improvements, reworks and other features are not some separate new experience. Rather, they are integrated directly into the core gameplay. Hence, all you need to do is to update the game once the DLC officially launches around 6 pm CET / 5 pm GMT / 12 pm ET / 9 am PT, start a game, and all the new content will be there.

However, at the moment, we can not confirm if you will need to start a new run or if you will be able to experience the new features even in your currently active playthrough. The update introduces many reworks and substantial changes, like new progression systems and a revamped levelling system of Follower progression. Hence, we are not sure if your current save will be compatible with the DLC.
