How to Do Mercy Move in Mortal Kombat 11 & Get Not Dead Yet Trophy?

To do a Show Mercy move in Mortal Kombat 11, you need to press L2 + Down, aka Left Trigger + Down, three times in a row, at a mid distance, if the opponent is in the Finish Him / Her state. You can only perform the move once per match. Spam the combo if it’s easier for you. Middle distance is about four steps or so away from the opponent. If you manage to pull the move off, you’re going to give some health back to the enemy, and the fight continues. It’s an interesting mechanic, especially in Mortal Kombat.

Now, one has to wonder, what is the use of doing the Mercy move. For one, it’s giving your opponent a second chance. Since Mercy is available both in Offline and Online modes, it’s definitely going to be a nice, sportsmanlike gesture in multiplayer. I can also see it as a way to save yourself if you’ve messed up a Brutality combo, or a Fatality, or what have you. And, of course there’s also the matter of the aforementioned Not Dead Yet trophy / achievement. You get this by performing a total of ten Mercy moves.

So, that’s how you perform the Mercy move in Mortal Kombat 11, and how yo get the Not Dead yet trophy / achievement. If you need further help with the game, check out some of our other MK11 guides.
