Unicorns in Sims 4 Horse Ranch

The question of unicorns in the Sims 4 Horse Ranch update has been on the minds of many players. As the name implies, the new expansion pack is going to be all about horses, and unicorns are kinda horses, right? Who wouldn’t want a fairy tale creature on their ranch? Does Sims 4 Horse Update Have Unicorns?

The answer to the question of whether the Sims 4 Horse Ranch update has unicorns is: yes and no. From what we’ve seen about the update so far, there will be no actual unicorns in the update. For that, you’ll either have to download a mod or wait for Maxis to release a faerie or supernatural pack, or whatever they decide to call it. You know, like they did for Sims 3. Unicorns wouldn’t really fit with the country western aesthetic that Horse Ranch is going for. I mean, I would love to see a cowboy riding on a fairy tale creature, but it’s just not gonna happen this time around. However, if you take a closer look at the items leaked by SimmerManda, there will be a unicorn horn cosmetic that you can put on a horse’s head. It’s not much, but hey, it’s cute.

So, that’s all we know about unicorns in the upcoming Sims 4 Horse Ranch update (or expansion pack, if you will). Is there a chance that Maxis have hidden a unicorn somewhere in the new content? Perhaps in some obscure side quest, as they are often wont to do? Sure, it’s possible. We simply don’t know at the moment; we’ll update the guide if that turns out to be the case. I wouldn’t hold my breath, though. It think it’s highly unlikely. Leakers would have discovered it by now, if nothing else. We’ll see how it all pans out starting July 20th.
