WWE 2K22 Release Date & Early Access Leaked

The WWE 2K22 release date and early access have been leaked. If this information is correct, then we’ll get to see a new installment of the franchise in early March. Great news for those of you that like WWE 2K games, since you got nothing last year after the WWE 2K20 debacle. Of course, take the info below with a grain of salt, since it’s not official yet. With that out of the way, let’s dive in.

When is the Release Date & Early Access of WWE 2K22

The release date and early access start of WWE 2K22 will be March 11th and March 8th, respectively, according to Nils Ahrensmeier over on Twitter. In other words, the game is coming out on March 11th for everyone that doesn’t shell out for early access. Those who do get to start playing on March 8th. Ahrensmeier has a pretty good track record of leaking correct information, so this could well prove to be true. And while we’re at it, you can also see what the WWE 2K22 cover art will look like above. It’s the standard sports game fare; a famous athlete emblazoned front and center with a photo of the same athlete from a different angle for the deluxe edition.

So, that’s the WWE 2K22 early access date and release date, if the leak is correct. We’ll just have to wait and see when 2K inevitably puts out some kind of statement. Meanwhile, I do have some concerns. We all remember the disasterpiece that was WWE 2K20, right? That was one of the worst launches I’ve ever seen in my life. It was so terrible that 2K decided to skip a year, which is unheard of. Now we have 2K22 on the way, which was supposed to have had enough time to cook. If that’s the case, though, how come 2K haven’t properly announced it yet? That immediately raises brand new red flags for me. I really do hope we don’t see a repeat of 2K20, but the company’s protracted silence is not giving me much to grab onto.
