The Black family is also prominently featured in Hogwarts Legacy as well, and at one point in the game, you’re going to need to answer what is their family motto. In Hogwarts Legacy, at a certain point in the story, you are going to use Polyjuice Potion to disguise yourself as Phineas Nigellus Black. You will then ask Scrope the House Elf to tell you the password to your (Black’s) office. Scrope will reply that it is the Black Family’s Motto. But what is the Black Family Motto? Well, there are three possible answers you can give here. These are: “It’s to do with strength”, “It’s to do with my family’s reign”, and “It’s to do with purity of blood”.

The correct answer here is #3 – It’s to do with purity of blood. Once you select this, Scrope will then tell you that you need to give this answer in French. So the correct version of the answer is “Toujours Pur”. Also, don’t worry if you select the wrong answers when speaking with Scrope.
