Horizon Zero Dawn Back At Top Spot in UK Sales Chart

Horizon Zero Dawn has found its way back to first place in the UK gaming sales chart. It even managed to beat down Nintendo’s Arms, which debuted in second place. This might be due to the new Frozen Wilds DLC, announced at E3 2017. The top-ten list also features GTA V in third place, Tekken 7 in sixth, Injustice 2 in ninth, etc.

Horizon Zero Dawn Back At Top Spot in UK Sales Chart

According to UK sales charts, Horizon Zero Dawn has made a huge comeback. Ever since it launched in early February / late March, the game had constantly been in the top-ten best selling games in the UK. Now, it’s back in the top spot, which is pretty good for a game that’s four months old and a console exclusive to boot. Even Arms, another console exclusive for the Nintendo Switch, couldn’t pull it down from first place. Instead, Arms debuted in second place.

The reason for this upsurge in Horizon Zero Dawn copies sold might be the Frozen Wilds DLC. Guerrilla Games and Sony announced it during PlayStation’s E3 2017 conference. The DLC will bring a whole new area to the game, new robot enemies, and a bunch more stuff.

Meanwhile, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Prey have fallen off the top-ten list. Rocket League and GTA V are still there, in tenth and third place, respectively. Other games on the list include Teken 7, Injustice 2, Overwatch, and so on.
