Wanted Criminal Rating in Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord
Doing things factions dislike will give you the wanted criminal status in Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord. Being a wanted criminal in a certain place will stop you from entering it, which means no trade or quests can be done there until you’ve cleared your name. There are several ways to do this – some are quick and costly, others more time-consuming yet cheap. If you’re wondering how to redeem yourself after having wronged someone, this guide will tell you all about the wanted criminal rating in Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord and how to get rid of it.
How to get rid of criminal rating?
The quickest way to get rid of your wanted criminal status is by going to the place where you’re wanted and talk to the guards. Choose to discuss the terms of your surrender. Here you’ll get to pick the payment option – either the required sum of denars, or a pound of flesh, which will set your health points to one.
However, if you’re not in a hurry, or don’t have the cash and wouldn’t like to cut off a piece of your buttock in order to repay your debt to society, you can just wait. Your criminal rating decay over time, which means it’ll disappear entirely on its own, given enough time. We don’t know the exact rate of decay, but it goes down pretty fast.
How to see your wanted criminal rating?
If you have a wanted criminal rating in a town or castle, you can see it at the top of the town screen, where the statistics are. It’ll be listed next to a dagger icon. You can also see the same information in the encyclopedia entry of the place, directly below the name. Lastly, if the guards won’t let you enter a place, hovering over the greyed-out option will reveal whether it’s because of your wanted criminal status.
I’m following your directions to show criminal eating but it’s not showing up in encyclopedia or hovering over a greyed out option. And I know I have one cause I saw a hovering text my criminal eating went up with battana from 66 to 84. But I can’t find those numbers anywhere.,
Your help would be much appreciated good sir. And amazing article btw
Same dude everything I see when I look this up says that your criminal rating shows up in the town screen but in my game I see the exact same icons on the town screen as the screenshot in this post and none of them are criminal rating.
I just got “caught” accepting goods from an artisan who was not allowed to sell to me by law. When I did not want to hand over the goods to my accuser, my criminal rating for the Western Empire went up 30 points.
I can see it on top left of screen, in the city you are here tablet, were you decide where you want to go next inside the city, or leave.
There is a dagger with the 30 and it says default -1…
It’s to the right of the town name. First the walls status, then the prosperity, followed by Militia, the Dagger, Loyalty, Garrison and lastly Food.
I’m confused, where is this guard that you’re supposed to talk to?
Don’t go tk the main settlement. The attached villages when you click and move to a village it will say on the top left with the dagger symbol criminal rating and expected change
