Aquaman and Friends Arrive in Lego DC Super-Villains

Lego DC Super-Villains just got expanded with a new batch of characters – not just aquamen, but aquawomen and aquachildren, too. That there’s a solid pop culture reference, but it might fly over your head, since it’s from an underground movie not many people have heard of. As I was saying, the latest Lego adventure received a DLC pack based on the Aquaman movie, which adds new characters and levels based on the movie and comic books.

The Aquapersons DLC is available on all the platforms (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, fridge, microwave, Texas Instruments calculator) and it’s part of the season pass. The pass is included in the deluxe edition of the game, so if you’ve bought that, you’re good to go. If not, you can buy it for $15, or get the Aquaman DLC itself for $6.

The new levels are based on Aquaman and Aquawoman’s antics, especially the part where they lead the aquafolk into battle against evil Aquaman, who wants to unite the seven aquakingdoms against the non-aquans. The roster is getting expanded with Aquaman (Movie), Vulko, Trench Creature, Murk, Brine King, Orm (Movie), Aquaman (Gladiator), Black Manta (Movie), Mera, Orm (Gladiator), King Nereus and Queen Atlanna.

If we’re being honest, it doesn’t sound like it’s worth the asking price on its own, but if you’ve already bought the deluxe edition, it’s a nice upgrade. Especially seeing how you’ve probably wrung the game dry, what with the holidays behind us and all.

It’s still unconfirmed, but there are rumors that if you’ve bought the super deluxe megafan limited edition, Jason Momoa will come to your home on a prearranged date, tuck you in and kiss you gently on the forehead. And it’s not the costumed mini-figure version of Jason Momoa, either.
