Batman Arkham Collection Steelbook Confirmed for Europe in September

The games in the Arkham series are, without a doubt, the best superhero games in existence. Well, the first two are, at least. The series, unfortunately, didn’t end with a bang, with Arkham Knight releasing to a myriad of bugs and glitches (many of which were never fixed), as well as extremely tedious Batmobile sections. But, be that as it may, all of them are worth experiencing in their own right. And, if you’re from Europe, and have missed the boat, then the upcoming Batman Arkham Collection Steelbook Edition on Xbox One and PS4 might be the thing for you.

As was leaked on Amazon UK recently, and since confirmed, the special edition is going to come out on September 6th, and yes, it’s only going to come out in Europe. Sadly, it won’t include Arkham Origins; only the three games developed by Rocksteady (Asylum, City, and Knight). Other than that, the bundle’s one selling point is that it’ll be the first time that the Earth 2 Dark Knight skin from Arkham Knight will be available outside North America. And how much would this bundle cost you, steelbook casing and all? Forty quid, according to the Amazon UK listing.

Now, what about all y’all that already own Arkham Knight on the PS4 in Europe? Well, you’ll also get the Earth 2 Dark Knight skin as a free download early next year. So yeah, you aren’t gonna get screwed over. Now, is the overall bundle worth it? In my humble opinion, no. I think the Return to Arkham collection, which only includes Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, is all you need. Arkham Knight is not really worth it. But, that’s just me.
