inZOI Steam and Platforms, Where to Play inZOI?

February 9th Update: We’ve revisited this article to add the latest information regarding inZOI’s availability on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, mobile, and other platforms. Continue reading for all the important information.

Is inZOI coming to Steam?

At the time of writing, which is December 11th, 2023, it hasn’t been confirmed if inZOI will come on Steam or not. However, we do know that the game is coming out on PC. That’s the only confirmed platform at the moment. While we do not have official information regarding the game’s release on Steam, we can make an educated guess based on Krafton’s prior history of its PC releases. And we can say that the situation is positive in regard to inZOI’s Steam release. Namely, all Krafton games which were launched on PC are available on Steam. This includes both the games they have developed and published. Hence, although we do not have an official confirmation, we can safely assume that inZOI will come to Steam once released. Finally, lest jump to other platforms.

On Which Platforms Will inZOI Release?

UPDATE (December 11th): We’ve been informed that the game is being actively developed for the current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S). At launch, the game will most likely only be released for PC, but console versions are also in development.

Aside from inZOI’s Steam release on PC, what other platforms could we expect? Again, there is no official information regarding inZOI platforms. Nevertheless, this seems like a perfect game to venture into console gaming. Thus, we are fairly certain that inZOI will be released on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, when it comes to old-gen, the picture is grimmer. Given the fidelity of visuals and the usage of Unreal Engine 5, we think that inZOI is not coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. These systems are simply not designed to render that level of graphics quality. Keep in mind that this is only our speculation. We will be happy to change this information if proven wrong by Krafton.

For now, though, we are only certain that inZOI is coming to Steam (PC), PS5, and Xbox Series X. When it comes to the Switch, the chances are slim that the game will launch on Nintendo’s highly successful handheld console. The game is simply too demanding for the Switch’s weak hardware. However, keep in mind that the rumoured Switch 2 is allegedly coming out around the same time. Hence, it might be developed for the Switch 2. We will have to wait and see.

Will inZOI Release on Mobile (iOS and Android)?

Finally, when it comes to inZOI on mobile phones, that is the biggest mystery. We are quite sure that Krafton wants to tap into that lucrative market. However, the current version of inZOI doesn’t seem like it would be caipable of running on your average Android or iOS smartphone. Hence, we tend to believe that there will be a separate mobile version of the game, which will operate independently. Our speculation ends here.

Before we wrap up, we want to emphasize once again – this is only our speculation based on the information we currently have. Nothing is confirmed yet. We will follow the situation closely and make sure to update the article as soon as new and official details emerge. What do you think? On which platforms will inZOI release?
