Mortal Kombat 11 Listing Leaks Shao Khan, New GoreTech System

It would seem that Gamestop Italy has been a little overzealous. They’ve listed the Ultimate Edition of the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11, which, in turn, has leaked some potentially interesting information. Among other things, it details the price, some of the Kombat Pass you get with the Ultimate Edition, a new GoreTech system, and the return of Shao Khan. You can check out the archived listing here, if you want to see it for yourself, because this is the internet, and nothing stays forgotten.

So, let’s see what we got here. For one, the listing features a new render of Shao Khan. It looks different than what we saw in the trailer. In fact, it’s much closer to the classic design, just with a samurai-like armor. And, thank god for Shao Khan, because, come on, who’s ever thought of Shinnok as intimidating? Price-wise, the listing cites that the Ultimate Edition will cost €100.98, which amounts to around 115 US dollars. What do you get for that? A steelbook case and the Kombat Pass, according to the listing. The Kombat pass should contain “6 characters & 6 Battlepasses.”

Lastly, the entry mentions a new GoreTech system, which is somehow connected to Fatalities. Apparently, it’s supposed to make Fatalities even more brutal than before. Now, we’re not 100% on what exactly GoreTech is going to be. As in, is it going to be some new method of executing Fatalities? My assumption is that GoreTech is some kind of new software that makes the gore look even more realistic. Because, well, that’s Mortal Kombat for you. Either way, I guess we’ll have to wait for the game to come out to know for sure. Mortal Kombat 11 is coming out on
