Palworld Pals not Transporting Materials to Storage, Not Moving Resources to Chest

Why are Pals not transporting materials to the Storage Chest in Palworld? While wacky creatures known as Pals are the stars of Palworld, the core gameplay loop is actually focused on gathering resources, crafting items and building your base. In that sense, you will mostly use your Pals as cheap labor. However, sometimes, they will not work as you were hoping they would. How to Fix Pals not Transporting Materials to Storage Issue in Palworld

So, you’ve started building your little empire of Pals workers. Soon enough, you will give them various jobs based on your needs. At the start, you will mostly want them to collect resources, which you will need in order to build a bigger base and expand your production. In order to keep your collected resources in one place, you will want to build a Wooden Storage Chest. Place a couple of these in your house, and you will notice that your hard-working Pals will start collecting resources there. However, some of them will drop the materials on the ground, and you will need to collect them yourself. Why are these Pals not transporting materials to storage in Palworld?

First and foremost, you need to check out your Pals’ Work Suitability and see if they are fit for transport. You can find this when you click on their stats page. Only Pals that have the “Transporting” trait under their Work Suitability will be able to carry resources to the Chest. Some of the Pals with the “Transporting” trait are Lamball, Cattiva, Fuack, Sparkit, Tanzee, Pengullet, and many others.

However, even this is not enough in some cases. Namely, there is currently a bug in the game which prevents Pals from transporting items to the Storage. The status bar will say “Transporting…” but they will get stuck in a wall or somewhere else, and will be unable to move. Unfortunately, until this bug is fixed, there is not much you can do. In that case, you will need to manually pick up the dropped item and bring it to your Storage Chest.
