First off, there will be a special new timed research story called “What Lies beneath the Mask.” The tasks will mostly revolve around participating in the Halloween Cup in the GO Battle League, which will be another feature during the whole event. From the release date and time of the Pokemon GO Halloween 2021 event to its end, you’ll also have access to four special bonuses: 2x Transfer Candy, 2x Hatch Candy, 2x Transfer Candy, and guaranteed Candy XL when walking with Buddy Pokemon.

On top of that, you’ll get to listen to a remix of the Lavender Town theme throughout the entire event. It might grow old by the end of it, but hey, it’s a neat detail. There will also be costumed Pokemon in wild encounters, new avatar items, stickers, and bundles, and much more. Again, check out the link above for further details.
