This week’s Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO is going to focus on Plusle. Also known as the Cheering Pokemon, Plusle is an Electric-type Pokemon, first introduced in Generation III. This Spotlight Hour is going to begin on January 18th, 2022, at 6:00 PM your local time. As its name suggests, it is going to last for one hour, so be prepared to make the most of it. Besides the increased Plusle spawns, during this SH, you will also be able to earn twice as many Catch Candy.

Can Plusle be Shiny?

Luckily for all you Shiny lovers, Plusle can indeed be Shiny. However, like with most Shiny variants, the odds of encountering a Shiny Plusle are very low. So, you should aim to catch as many Plusles as you can during this Spotlight Hour. In preparation for this, we recommend that you stock up on Berries. While the berries themselves won’t increase the odds of encountering a Shiny Plusle, they will lower the chances of a Shiny Plusle getting away when you try to catch it if you do find one.

Can Plusle Evolve?

Plusle does not evolve into any other Pokemon. Although, it can be considered a counterpart to Minun, another Electric-type Pokemon. Minun is rumored to be next week’s Spotlight Hour Pokemon.
