Pokemon GO Jigglypuff Spotlight Hour 2023

The 2023 Jigglypuff Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO is going to work as most of these mini-events, even including the better chances of catching a shiny one. It will begin on Tuesday, February 21st at 6 PM local time. It will wrap up an hour later, at 7 PM local server time, as is always the case. You also get to enjoy the event bonus, which this week is double catch XP. That means you receive twice the experience for every Pokemon you catch, not just Jigglypuff. However, you’ll probably want to focus on the little pink ball, especially if you don’t have a shiny one yet. That brings me to our next point…

Can Jigglypuff be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Jigglypuff can be shiny in Pokemon GO, so use the 2023 Spotlight Hour to try and catch one. Shiny Pokemon are incredibly rare, as we all know. These mini-events, which boost the spawn numbers of the featured Pokemon, also increase your odds of encountering the special version. Now, the problem with Jigglypuff is that it’s kinda difficult to tell the difference between the two. The skin is a slightly different shade of pink, but the real identifier is the eye color. The regular Jigglypuff has blue eyes, while the shiny variant has green eyes. With the event bonus being what it is, you might as well catch as many of them as possible, shiny or not. So, go out there and happy hunting.
