Is Tornadus Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Tornadus can be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2023. I don’t know when this particular monster got its special variant, but that doesn’t much matter anyway. Now, the problem with Tornadus is twofold. One is that, like all other shiny Pokemon, encountering it is very rare. The situation is made even worse by the fact that Tornadus only really appears in five-star Raids. The second problem is that it’s very difficult to tell a normal Tornadus apart from the shiny one. The only major difference is the color of its tail. The regular version has a purple tail, while the shiny’s tail is blue. With all that said, Tornadus will star in five-star Raids until march 8th, 2023. So, what are your odds of getting a shiny one?

Pokemon GO Tornadus Shiny Rate

The exact shiny spawn rate of Tornadus in Pokemon GO is a little difficult to pin down, since, you know, it’s really rare no matter how you slice it. That said, we do know for a fact that it has better odds than regular Pokemon. Legendary Pokemon, which this one is, have shiny odds of around twenty percent, or one in five. So, on average, you need to fight and catch (or at least attempt to) five Tornaduses to bump into the special version. Of course, if you’re really lucky, the first one you meet might be shiny. On the other hand, you might face a bunch of them and encounter zero shinies. So, the thing I can do is wish you the best of luck.
