Can Amaura and Tyrunt be Shiny in Pokemon GO 2023

Yes, both Tyrunt and Amaura can be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2023. To be more precise, their shiny counterparts will be making their debut during the upcoming Adventure Week. The event is going to begin on Thursday, July 27th at 10 AM local time and end on Wednesday, August 2nd at 8 PM local time. While the Adventure Week is taking place, you will be finding both Amaura and Tyrunt in wild encounters, Field Research task encounters, and in 7 km Eggs. According to the event announcement, “Tyrunt and Amaura hatched from Eggs will have a greater chance of being shiny than Tyrunt or Amaura found in the wild.” So, break out those spare Incubators and get to hatching!

So, now that we know that Amaura and Tyrunt can be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2023, how do we tell the difference? Turns out, it’s real easy. The shiny Tyrunt is a vivid blue instead of brown, and the shiny Amaura is completely white instead of light blue. So, unless you have some serious problems with color vision, you’ll probably have zero problems telling them apart from the regular versions. As for the rest of what the Adventure Week has to offer, click the link we’ve provided above. One huge thing the event will offer is the debut of Mega Tyranitar, who can also be shiny. All in all, I’d recommend participating in this Adventure Week. It really has a lot going on. Good luck!
