Pokemon GO Solgaleo or Lunala Choice

The Pokemon GO Solgaleo or Lunala choice is a pretty tough one to make. Trainers can only have one Cosmog, and therefore one Cosmoem. Therefore, you can only have either Lunala or Solgaleo at the moment. The question I’m sure many of you are asking is, which is better, Solgaleo or Lunala? Well, let’s find out, shall we?

Which is Better, Solgaleo or Lunala in Pokemon GO

The fact of the matter is that this choice is much worse than you might think, and neither Solgaleo nor Lunala are really good in Pokemon GO right now. In fact, they’re both kinda crap. Neither of them has particularly powerful moves, nor especially huge stats. It’s possible that Niantic are going to change things up in the future, sure. However, I can only speak about what’s happening right now, and right now I don’t like either of them. Considering how difficult they are to get, I really expected more. With all of that said, if you put a gun to my head, I’d choose Lunala over Solgaleo. The Moon Pokemon at least has some potential. The Sun Pokemon is all but useless.

So, yeah, when it comes to which choice is better in Pokemon GO, Lunala or Solgaleo, it’s Lunala. Again, it does have some potential and could be relatively useful as a Psychic / Ghost combo. Mind you, there are way more powerful Pokemon that you can use instead, but it’s decent enough. Meanwhile, Solgaleo as a Psychic / Steel dual-type us just… unnecessary. Both of them just come of as half-baked. Anyway, that’s it for my whinging. In order to evolve Lunala, you have to give your Cosmoem a hundred Cosmog Candy at night. If you do decide to go with Solgaleo instead, you have to do the same thing, just during the day.
