Zapdos Weakness & Best Moveset in Pokemon GO

So, we know what the best Zapdos counters in Pokemon GO are, but what about its weakness and best moveset? Well, it has more than one weakness, as you’ve probably figured out from the list. Specifically, as an Electric/Flying-type Pokemon, Zapdos does poorly against Ice and Rock attacks, taking 160% damage from them. On the flip side, Ground, Fighting, Grass, Steel, Bug and Flying attacks do only 63%, so avoid using those.

As for what the best Zapdos moveset, there are several combinations that work really well. One thing that we have to open with is that Thunder Shock (Electric, Elite TM) is the best Quick Attack Zapdos has, which is why you should try and catch it in these coming Raids. When it comes to Charged Attacks, Drill Peck (Flying), Thunderbolt (Electric) and Zap Cannon (Electric) are all viable choices. The other Quick Attack Zapdos can have is Charge Beam (Electric), and the other Charged Moves are Ancient Power (Rock), Thunder (Electric), Frustration (Normal, Shadow) and Return (Normal, Purified).
