To check your friendship levels in Pokemon Legends Arceus, the first step you need to take is complete a small request for Belamy. That’s an NPC that you can find on one of the dirt paths in the southeast of Jubilife Village. He’s dressed in all blue clothes and wears glasses. In other words, he’s not super-hard to notice, but just in case you’re having trouble, check out the screenshots below to see where you can find him. Talk to Belamy to start the “Measuring Your Compatibility” request.

To complete this quest, all you need to do is show him a Pokemon you’re already friendly with. By that, I mean, you need to start talking with Belamy again and then select a Pokemon from your party or box that you have a high friendship with. You need to complete this request before you can check your Pokemon Legends Arceus friendship level. Now, which Pokemon should you choose? The one that you’ve had in your party the most, battled with the most, and fed the most Candy. More often than not, it’ll be your starter, if you still have it with you.

Either way, show Belamy the Pokemon you use the most, and that should complete the quest. From then on, you can always come back and talk to this NPC to check your friendship levels with other Pokemon. It’s a trek, sure, but then again, this is pretty much how the system has worked in many previous games. Knowing your friendship level is important for evolving specific Pokemon, such as Umbreon, Espeon and Sylveon from Eevee.
