Tumblestones are a new ingredient added in Pokemon Legends Arceus, and you need to know how to get them almost immediately. Without it, you won’t be able to catch a thing. As this installment travels back in time, the items we have come to know from other Pokemon games don’t exist yet. This means Pokeballs don’t come from a store but need handcrafting. Tumblestones are one of the necessary ingredients and we can tell you how to get them in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Along with Apricorns, Tumblestone is an ingredient that makes Pokeballs. One Apricorn and one Tumblestone make a standard Pokeball. Different types of Tumblestone will also appear, like Black Tumblestone. This can make balls that have increased efficiency.
How to Get Tumblestones in Pokemon Legends Arceus
Tumblestones are all over the map. They appear as red crystals with a squared shape. Once you see them, you need to throw a Pokeball at the crystal. Your Pokemon will jump out, you get the Tumblestone, and the Pokemon returns. It will automatically get added to your bag, so you don’t need to collect it afterward. Tumblestone is also one of the materials that you can buy from Jubilife Village in the Craftworks Station.
Once you have a Tumblestone and an Apricorn you can start making Pokeballs. After you finish the Galaxy Team’s Entry Trial you will get a mission that teaches the basics of crafting. Cyllene will also provide you with a Pokeball recipe at this point.
After this, you need to find a crafting bench. They reside in Jubilife Village in the Craftworks, or at one of the base camps. When interacting, the list of available recipes should appear. You select the one you want; press A and they are made.
