Best Pokemon Against Samurott Tera Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

One of the best, if not the best Pokemon to use against Samurott in the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raid, is Azumarill. It is an all-around champion of Tera Raids (along with Iron Hands), and you can absolutely use it here, too. We recommend switching its Nature to Adamant if necessary, and be sure that its ability is Huge Power. Also, its Tera Type needs to be Water. You want its Attack and Health upgraded all the way. Also, give it a Shell Bell to hold. As far as the moveset goes, Belly Drum, Bounce and Liquidation are a must, while Rain Dance is optional. Open the fight with belly drum, then Bounce from moves 2 to 4. Use Rain Dance if you want to at this point. From there, terastralize and use Liquidation until the end.

Another Pokemon that is among the best to use in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Samurott Tera Raid is Gyarados. Make the Nature Adamant, Leftovers the Held Item, Intimidate the Ability and make sure Flying is its Tera Type. Also, you want the absolute maximum HP and Attack. The recommended moveset includes Dragon Dance, Chilling Water, Tera Blast and Taunt. Open with Taunt, then do Chilling Water for moves 2 to 4, followed by Dragon Dance until move 7. Terastralize and unleash Tera Blast and keep at it. Yet another good option is Corviknight with max HP and Attack, a Flying Tera Type, Adamant Nature, Mirror Armor as the Ability and Leftovers as the Held Item. Open with Reflect, proceed with Screech for two moves, then Hone Claws and, starting move 7, use Drill Peck when possible and terastralize.
