How to Get Sinnoh Starters Gift Egg Teal Mask Pokemon SV

In each Pokemon game, you typically get a free starter Pokemon right at the beginning. After all, you won’t be able to play the game and battle with other Pokemon if you don’t have at least one of your own to start with. It’s the same in The Teal Mask, the latest DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here, you can get either Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup as part of your Sinnoh Starters Gift Egg. So here’s how and where to get the Sinnoh Starters Gift Egg in the Pokemon SV Teal Mask.

How to Get Sinnoh Starters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask

In order to get your Sinnoh Starters Egg, the first thing that you’ll need to do is to find Jacq. To do this, go to Mossui Town. Once there, head to the bridge to the east. As soon as you cross it, you will see a big tree to the right. Jacq is standing right underneath it. We have marked where you need to go in our screenshot gallery which you can view directly below.

Speak to Jacq here. This is going to trigger a short cutscene. After the cutscene is over, you will have the Sinnoh Starters Gift Egg in your possession. To hatch it, all you need to do is to walk around for a while. After a set number of steps, it is going to hatch into a new Pokemon. You can get either Turtwig (a Grass-type), Chimchar (a Fire-type), or Piplup (a Water-type) from it. This is entirely random, so you won’t be able to choose which one to get. But don’t worry, as you will be able to catch the other two Pokemon during the course of the game.
