That’s according to the game’s official website. So, you just have to play through the main quests for long enough until you get far enough to get access to the Mystery Gift option. This is going to be important, since you’ll need to use this feature in order to get, for example, access to the Special Pikachu pre-order bonus. Also, if you purchase the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet Double Pack, you’ll get two serial codes, each of which will grant you a hundred Poke Balls.

There are two ways to redeem Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: you can use codes or downloading them via the Internet option. Don’t forget that both methods require internet connection.

- Then choose one of the options: Get via Internet, Get with Code / Password, Check Mystery Gifts, Check Poke Portal News
