Tekken 7 is finally live worldwide, to the delight of the armies of fans. However, players have been reporting issues with the Season Pass. Redeeming Tekken 7 Season Pass Issue

After the long wait, Tekken fans can finally sink their teeth into the new installment in the franchise. However, players that have bought the Season Pass have been experiencing trouble with redeeming their codes, both for the pass and the Eliza DLC. Fortunately, it seems that the fix for the issue is simple. It might be that they’ve just been trying too early.

GameFAQ user Joonie has been having the same problems, so they contacted their retailer. The retailer, in turn, got this reply from Namco Bandai:

Due to delays in activation please advise your stores that the Season pass and PC steam codes won’t work until tonight. Please also note there is NO content yet available for the season pass, this will be announced and released over the next 6 months.

A few other users also reported that they’ve managed to redeem the code once the game went live. However, the issues don’t really stop there. Some players are speculating whether or not somebody made a mix-up and sent out activation codes to the wrong people. We can’t corroborate that, but we’ll keep an ear to the ground. The second issue is that, if the quote from above is legitimate, the Season Pass is dead right now. Players have payed good money for the extra content, and they have nothing to show for it yet. Hopefully, Namco Bandai will make the extra purchase worth everybody’s while.
