Are there alternate skins in Uncharted TLL?

Yes. As is tradition, there are alternate skins in Uncharted Lost Legacy. It seems they can only be unlocked after you’ve beaten the game – we got our first glimpse of them in the ending video that appeared yesterday. They’re accessed through the extras menu, and you have to spend those nebulous points to unlock them.

The video has been taken down in the meantime, but you can see the skins it showcased in the picture above. They are, from left to right:

  • Chloe Frazer (Rural)
  • Chloe Frazer (City)
  • Chloe Frazer (Pirate)
  • Chloe Frazer (Western)

Each of them costs three points. It seems like there won’t be any character swap options, even though we’ve seen people ask about them on several occasions. Hopefully it’ll offer the filters Uncharted 4 had – they were by far the best of all the extras. Having Chloe in a slightly different shirt may be a welcome change, but having her jump around a pixelized/monochrome/sepia world is a whole other level.

The release of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy also brought some new skins into Uncharted 4 Multiplayer (which is now shared with TLL). Since Chloe and Nadine were already present in MP, they both got some new digs. The outfits can be found in the DLC vanity chest, which you’ll automatically get if you buy the new expandalone. Don’t worry, though – if you’re not planning on buying the DLC, you can still buy the chest using points. There’s also a new character – Asav, the villain from the new game.
