TOTK Farosh Location

In our TOTK Farosh Location guide guide, we are going to show you where to find Farosh the dragon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This dragon, like the others, is important because of the upgrade materials he drops when hit in the right spot. Farosh can “provide” Claws, Fangs, Scales and more, but it’s never easy to pull off. Hopefully, this guide will help you out with this.

Where to Find Farosh Location in Tears of the Kingdom

Finding the location of Farosh in Zelda TOTK or Tears of the Kingdom is a little tricky, because the dragon has a long flight pattern. He flies both in the sky and underground. Around 2 AM or so, Farosh exists the underground through the East Gerudo Chasm (-2489, -3041, 0090). He then takes a more or less straight line east and goes back down through the Hills of Baumer Chasm (0239, -2153, 0051), usually around 8 PM. The times are not exact; I am just telling you what times it happened for us. Now, if you’re trying to hop onto Farosh’s back, the easiest time to do that is probably when he’s diving down. Let him get almost all the way down then jump into the chasm and land anywhere on him. This (largely) shields you from the balls of electricity he shoots.

So, that’s the location where you can jump onto the back Farosh in Zelda TOTK or Tears of the Kingdom. That’s how you get his scales or shards of his spikes. Just hit them with a weapon and pick them up. Unfortunately, it’s a little more difficult when it comes to Farosh’s claws or fangs. I mean, you can climb down to his head or feet from the back, but it’s not that easy. Instead, I recommend launching yourself from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and glide towards Farosh after he exists the East Gerudo Chasm. Then, use arrows to knock off a piece of fang or claw. It’s a challenge either way, so good luck!

As for what you need the Farosh Scales, Fangs, Claws etc, they’re mostly for upgrading your armor at Great Fairies. This is especially true of the Fierce Deity armor, for example. Plus, you need these items for some quests, like Goddess Statue of Courage.
