How to Get Underwater Chests Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is a game that heavily relies on – and rewards – exploration. You will often come across things and situations where you will not be sure what you need to do. For example, if you discover a chest stuck underwater. Naturally, you can’t reach this underwater chest, so the question arises – how to open a chest that is underwater? Well, that is actually a very clear and straightforward solution to this problem, and we are going to show you how to get Underwater Chests in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom right here in our guide.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom How to Get Underwater Chest
When you first encounter a chest that is underwater, you will probably first try to somehow dive after it. The problem with this is that, while Link can swim, he can’t dive underwater like many other games allow you to. It doesn’t even help if you try to jump into the water from a high altitude – you won’t be able to dive in and reach the chest. So, what is the solution here, how can you reach the underwater chests?
What you need to do is to use your Ultrahand ability. You unlock this ability near the start of the game, in the Ukouh Shrine. So when you see a chest that is underwater, approach it. Don’t go into the water, but do this from the land. Go into your abilities tab and select the Ultrahand ability. Then, aim for the underwater chest and grab it with Ultrahand. Take it out of the water and place it on a dry surface that you can reach. Finally, all that’s left is to walk up to the no-longer-underwater chest and to open it and get your rewards from inside.
