How to Use Vow of Tulin Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The Vow of Tulin is an incredibly useful ability in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Provided to you courtesy of Tulin, Sage of Wind, this power allows you to summon his avatar and make use of his potent wind powers. Of course, there is a lot more to it than that, and if you want to know how to use the Vow of Tulin Ability in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, this guide is here to tell you everything you need to understand about this power, including where you can get it and how to best utilize it.

How to Use Vow of Tulin in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To start with, let’s see how to get this ability in the first place. You are going to unlock it by completing the “Tulin of Rito Village” quest. On a side note, if you are puzzled because Tulin has disappeared during this quest, we have a solution for this problem. This will give you the TOTK Vow of Tulin, Sage of Wind ability. Its description reads: “Proof of the vow of Tulin, Sage of Wind. Use it to summon or dismiss the avatar of Tulin.”
- One very important tip: if you are using it for the first time you have to be far away from the Rito Village before you can activate it.
- From the Key Items tab in your Inventory select “Vow of Tulin”
- In order to use “Vow of Tulin” you have to press A to get ready, then A again to activate it.
Basically, the Vow of Tulin has two uses – in combat and during exploration. If you use it in combat, the gust of wind that Tulin creates can knock back smaller enemies. This can be situationally useful, but by far the best use of this ability is for exploration purposes. Namely, when you are gliding and use this power, Tulin is going to blow a powerful gust of wind that is going to give you a burst of speed. Using this, you will be able to move much more quickly while gliding and to reach areas that you otherwise wouldn’t have been able to. Lastly, the same as with other Vows, you won’t be able to use this in settlements.
