How to Get and Use Luminous Stone Talus Heart Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To get and use a Luminous Stone Talus Heart in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you first need to find and defeat a Stone Talus. There are probably several dotted around Hyrule; we found one during the Misko’s Treasure quest, in the Crenel Hills Cave. That’s where the Barbarian Armor is. For those that haven’t played Breath of the Wild, the Stone Talus is a miniboss that’s pretty easy to defeat. Every one of them has an ore deposit sticking out of its body, usually on the shoulder or back. What you need to do is hit that thing with arrows while dodging attacks until the Talus falls to its knees. At that point, climb to the deposit and smack it as many time as you can. Rinse and repeat.

So, that’s how you get the Luminous Stone Talus Heart in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, as a drop from this boss, but how do you actually use it? I mean, the Stone Talus drops a ton of materials that you can pick up easily, but you can’t pick the heart up. It’s gigantic. But surely it serves some kind of purpose, right? It absolutely does. Equip a weapon from your inventory that you haven’t fused yet, then use the Fuse ability to stick the heart onto it. Somehow, the heart will magically shrink to fit the weapon you’ve chosen. As far as we’re aware, that’s its only use. If you know of any other, let us know in the comments.
