Animal Crossing Hello Kitty Items, Villagers & Amiibo Cards

Sanrio Amiibo cards have finally been updated – you can now use them to get more than just posters in Animal Crossing New Horizons. They can now give you Hello Kitty items, but also a batch of new villagers, which you can coax into moving onto your island. How to get Hello Kitty items in Animal Crossing?

To get the new batch of Sanrio items in ACNH, you’ll first have to scan the Amiibo cards. You can do this either by visiting the Nook Stop kiosk, or at the Resident Services, by using the Invite a(miibo) Camper option. Once you’ve scanned the cards, you’ll be able to buy all of the new furniture and items through the Promotions tab at the Nook store. Sadly, you can only buy five items per day, so it’s going to take a while.

How to get Sanrio Hello Kitty Amiibo Cards?

Although the Sanrio Hello Kitty Amiibo cards have been sold out lighting fast, Nintendo have announced a reprint. A new batch of cards is going to go on sale on March 26th in the US, but they’re going to be sold exclusively at Target.

How to make Hello Kitty villagers move to your island?

There are six Hello Kitty villagers in total. To get them to move onto your island, you’ll first have to scan the Amiibo cards. Make sure you have a camp – they’ll have to visit you before you can ask them to move in.

Scan the cards at the Resident Services, by choosing the Invite a(miibo) Camper option. Once they’re there, head to the campsite and talk to them. They’ll ask you to craft them something – do it. Repeat this two more times, and you’ll get the option to invite them to move there permanently.
