Episode 3 Bloodline, the last part of the Legacy of the First Blade DLC for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, has been released today. It’s going to conclude the story of Darius and his family – that is, if you can find and install it. Apparently, a lot of people can’t. There’s a lot of confusion here, with reports of people being unable to find it in the store or install it. If you can’t install episode 3 DLC for AC Odyssey, we’re going to try to help you.
How to access episode 3 Bloodline?
The issue seems to affect people across all three platforms. If you’re on Xbox, there are several things you could try. First of all, clear the cache by unplugging the console for ten seconds. After that, go to My Games & Apps, find AC Odyssey and choose the Manage Game & Add-ons option. If you select Ready to Install, you should see the new episode there. Each episode is a separate entry, and often has to be downloaded manually.
If you’re on PC, you probably don’t have the required update. The best way to deal with this would be to restart your game client (Steam or Uplay), and if that doesn’t work, try restarting your PC as well. There’s no button that lets you force the game to update itself, sadly, but these methods often work.
If you’re playing on a Playstation 4, things get a bit more complicated. First of all, there’s a rolling launch, and no precise release times have been revealed for PS4. This means the DLC might not be live in your area yet. You could try to find it on the PSN site through your phone, and order it to download to console from there, but there’s no guarantee it will work.
