How to Reset Skills & Abilities - AC Odyssey Respec Character

Skills and abilities are used to unlock new powers in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. They’re divided into three trees – warrior, assassin and hunter – and they’re going to help you develop your character any way you see fit. How to reset abilities in AC Odyssey?

If you’ve made a mistake while leveling up and choosing your skills, you can reset them easily. Simply go into the abilities screen, and press the left analogue stick. It will cost you a handful of drachmae – we presume the amount depends on your level. The price will be displayed in the lower right corner, so you don’t have to do it if you feel you can’t afford it at the moment.

Theoretically, you’ll be able to respec as many times as you’d like. Just hand over the cash and you’ll be allowed to rearrange all your skills. However, judging by the price we’ve seen at level six (325 drachmae), it could end up being prohibitively expensive later on. Reseting your abilities at a much higher level might bet unreasonably expensive, but you’ll probably have things figured out before then, so it might be safe to assume you won’t need to do it once you’re over level 15 or so.

Since the three trees all offer distinctly different abilities, make sure you ask yourself whether you prefer sneaking, direct melee combat or ranged attacks. And keep in mind hand-to-hand is going to be the only option in a lot of cases.
