Assassin’s Creed Origins December Update Content Announced

Ubisoft has announced the new content they’ll be adding to Assassin’s Creed Origins in a blog post on their website. First off, the title update. You’ll soon be able to play Assassin’s Creed Origins on Nightmare difficulty, if you want more of a challenge. Also, the developers will be adding the option for enemy scaling. If you activate it, all of the lower-level enemies will jump to your level. Also, if you haven’t picked up the Nightmare and First Civ packs, you’ll be able to get them from Heka Chests.

There will also be two new quests in the game. The first one is Horde Mode in the Here Comes a New Challenger event quest. It will take place in the Cyrene arena, and will pit you against “unlimited waves of foes”. The recommended level for it is 32 or higher. The second quest is a surprise quest. In the post, there’s a gif right underneath, clearly showing a chocobo tail. So, yes, expect to ride through the desert on chocobos this month!

In other news, December will bring the third Trials of the Gods battle against Sekhmet. According to the post, this will be “the last god of the god trio”. There’s also The Triad, when you’ll have the opportunity to face off against all three gods. Lastly, you can look forward to two item packs, called Gladiator Item Pack and Wacky Items Pack.
