When is Baldur’s Gate 3 Coming Out

Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming out on August 3rd on PC, but the exact release date and time will vary depending on your exact location. According to the game’s official Twitter account (no, not calling it X), BG3 will launch at the same time everywhere. In the Americas, you can start playing at 8 AM PST / 11 AM EST / 12 PM BRT on August 3rd, 2023. Well, a lot of people are already playing it, but I’m talking about the full version here. Anyways, across the pond, the launch times will be 4 PM BST / 5 PM CEST. Moving towards the east, Baldur’s Gate 3 will launch at midnight Tokyo time on August 4th, which translates to 2 AM Sydney time and 3 AM Auckland time. You can do your own math from here, I’m pretty sure.

So, that’s the release date and time of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC, but what about PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S? Well, you lovely people are going to have to wait longer. On the PS5, BG3 will launch on September 6th, most likely at midnight local time. With the exception of the US, where it will probably come out at midnight EST on the 6th, aka 9 PM PST on the 5th. We’ll have to wait and see. What we do know is that the PC version was also supposed to release in September, but Larian moved it to avoid clashing with Starfield. As for Xbox, there is no set launch date whatsoever, because there have been some issues that the developers have to handle first. We’ll be sure to keep you posted when more info comes out.
