Where to Find Vanra After She Ran Away After Saving Her in Baldur’s Gate 3

A lot of players are complaining that Vanra ran away after saving her in BG3 or Baldur’s Gate 3. Which, in fairness, is what usually happens to NPCs that you save from a precarious situation – they make their way to safety on their own. Trouble is, the game doesn’t tell you where Vanra vanishes to, as we’ve said up top. Well, she goes back home. Her mother actually does have a house in Baldur’s Gate, and you’ll find it just to the north of Old Garlow’s Place. Simply pay a visit to the houses in the vicinity and north of Garlow’s; you’ll find them eventually. That way, you can get your reward for rescuing Vanra from the hag’s belly – a legendary rapier.

And there you have it, that’s the place Vanra ran away to after you were done saving her in Baldur’s Gate 3 or BG3. Now, if you’re reading this, you’ve probably managed to rescue Vanra in the first place. However, I know some of you might be reading ahead. If that’s the case, I’d recommend checking out our How to Save Vanra guide for the full details. The quick rundown is: you can either make a potion of Hag’s Bane and throw it at the hag when you next meet her, and she will throw Vanra up. Alternatively, you can switch your attacks to non-lethal in the Passives part of the action bar. That way, you can subdue the creature without killing it and cut Vanra out safely.

Nope, Vanra is not at home, checked. Nor in the hag’s lair. This quest is simply bugged, and I am not alone with this.
