Biomutant Googlide Wrekboxes - Upgrade Engine Level 1, 2, 3

The Googlide is an aquatic vehicle in Biomutant and you can upgrade its engine from level 1 to 2 and 3 with Googlide Wrekboxes. You will acquire the Googlide during the Main Quest and receive “The Googlide” side quest when you find your first Googlide Wreckbox. Why is The Googlide Important in Biomutant?

The Googlide is important because you will need it to defeat one of the main bosses in the game – Porky Puff, the southeastern worldeater. The Googlide is used to transverse water and it lets you explore the Surfipelago area. When you first get it, the Googlide’s engine will be at level 1. With this, you can move around turquoise-colored water. A level 2 engine is needed to move through green-colored water and a level 3 engine to move through rust-colored water. If you try to move through water without the appropriate engine upgrade, you will be turned back.

Biomutant Googlide Wrekboxes – Where Can You Find Them?

There are nine Googlide Wrekboxes in total and you can find them all over the Surfpilago. They look like big crates with life preservers on the side. Finding and equipping five different Googlide upgrade gets you the “Riding the Wave” achievement. Your Googlide has three different parts that you can upgrade: the Engine, Bow, and Stern. However, only the Engine is really important, since it lets you visit areas you otherwise wouldn’t be able to. This loot is randomized, so you might have to collect all nine Googlide Wrekboxes before you can upgrade the Googlide’s Engine to level 3.

How To Upgrade Your Googlide With Googlide Wrekboxes

When you have collected enough Googlide Wrekboxes, approach the water and summon your Googlide. Get on it and press the same “Summon mount” button again to enter Googlide’s customization screen. Here, you can customize all three Googlide parts. If you find all nine Googlide Wrekboxes, you will complete “The Googlide” side quest. With a fully upgraded Googlide level 3 Engine, you will be able to go to every part of the Surfipelago.
