Borderlands Skill Tree With 4 different characters available in the game, each character’s role depends on the skill tree you choose.

Claptrap the Flagtrap

Claptrap the Flagtrap is easily the fan favorite with his VaultHunter.EXE program as well as the explosive Boomtrap skill tree. Claptrap makes things more complicated by randomly selecting an ability based on the current situation.

Claptrap’s trees are divided into three categories: be it explosive, (Boomtrap) cooperative (I Love You Guys!) or a bit more for the advanced players (Fragmented Fragtrap).

Nisha the Lawbringer

Nisha the Lawbringer, also known as The Sheriff of Lynchwood is a quick killer type, and likes to get things done up close and personal. Her action skill, Showdown, will automatically aim at targets when activated. The player can quickly cycle through targets by flicking the right stick.

Her skill trees are all offensive, and are a mix between gunfire, melee and slams (Law & Order), dual wielding weapons (Fan the Hammer) or the long range re-loader (The RifleWoman).

Wilhelm the Enforcer

Wilhelm the Enforcer, a Hyperion Engineer, who serves Handsome Jack, can summon two drones with his action skill named Wolf and Saint. Wolf brings the offensive firepower while Saint can charge Wilhelm’s health and shields.

The Hunter-Killer buffs different acrobatic skills such as air speed, damage and targeting controls for the Wolf, while Cyber Commando skill tree transforms him into a complete cyborg changing his appearance completely. The Dreadnought skill tree is a bit of a supportive one. What makes him a very good support are: the boosts of his shields, decrease of cooldown duration for Wolf and Saint, deploying of a large healing zone for your whole party called “Zero Hour” and the “Overcharge” buff for movement speed, fire rates, reload speed and ammo regeneration for your entire party.

Athena the Gladiator

Athena the Gladiator, although initially masked, is a former leader of an Omega Squad, from which she defected. Her skill trees are a mix of damage increase and support abilities. She can be the healer of the group (Phalanx), increase melee and gun damage (Xiphos), or build maelstrom stacks for maximum damage (Ceraunic Storm).
