Modern Warfare 3 Operator Fury Kills and How to Get Them

As part of the week 4 challenges in Modern Warfare 3’s first month since launch we get a task to get 3 Operator Fury Kills. Been playing for a while now and I had no idea what fury kills are. As I was farming other weekly challenges I got a good killing spree on Rust. Turns out you have to kill several operators in succession to get a fury kill. The funny thing is that I didn’t even notice the game calls it that. You look at your crosshair when playing and when you do the fury it shows quad kill next to the crosshair. Only after that it shows fury kill banner in the top right of the screen.

How to get 3 Operator Fury Kills With a Recommended Weapon in MW3?

You have to kill four operators in quick succession without dying yourself in any multiplayer mode. Operators are only human opponents. Zombies don’t count and neither do bots in Invasion. You have about five to 10 seconds between each kill for them to count towards the fury spree. Use a recommended weapon only. Old MW2 weapons don’t count. You have to do this 3 times. Coincidently, another challenge this week is to get 4 operator kills without dying with Akimbo WSP Swarm. These two challenges go hand in hand. Equip the WSP Swarm with a 100 round mag and Yellow Jacket Akimbo Brace Stocks and you’re golden. Here are some tips on how to complete this challenge.

There’s a 24/7 Rust map playlist that is good for getting three operator fury kills. Aim for Hardpoint, Domination or Control game mode. There’s a little tunnel in the middle of the map and sometimes enemies line up there. Also, camp their spawn points. If Rust is not live try Terminal. Rustment 24/7 starts soon so you should be good. Another good thing, if you are super skilled, is the Hardcore playlist. Single bullets can kill here, but you also die quick. Avoid trying to get fury kills in ground war. Not many choke points in MW3 maps.

Best MCW Jak Raven Kit Weapon Build for Fury Kills

I used the MCW with JAK Raven Kit to get the operator fury kills at first. There are two more challenges that require this build so I thought I try it. The build requires you to unlock Jak Raven conversion kit for MCW through previous weeks and their challenges. This gives you a boost to mobility and hipfire but reduces recoil and damage. You want to compensate with your other attachments. Best MCW Jak Raven Kit for getting fury kills is:

  • Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mag (more bullets better chance of fury kills)
  • Stock: RB Regal Heavy Stock
  • Rear Grip: RB Claw-PSL Grip

Best WSP Swarm with Yellow Jacket Akimbo Brace Stocks Build for Weekly Challenge

The real champion here, however, is the Akimbo WSP Swarm. You make this SMG AKIMBO by equipping the conversion kit called SWP Akimbo Brace Stock. You got this in week 3 when you completed any five weekly challenges. This makes you carry two SWP swarm in each hand. You want extended magazines so you never reload. Hold both mouse buttons or left and right trigger on controller to shoot both guns at the same time. This mows down enemy operators and gets you fury kills fast. Here’s the build.

Best WSP Swarm with Yellow Jacket Akimbo Brace Stocks build for weekly challenge
