How to Unlock COD Warzone Nail Gun

To unlock the Nail Gun in COD Warzone, you need to get five eliminations with Special Weapons in fifteen different completed matches. Okay, that’s a little vague, so let’s break it down. First off, what are special weapons? Well, as of writing this article, there are four of these in Warzone: the M79 grenade launcher, the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow, the Ballistic Knife, and the Nail Gun itself. So, that’s three weapons that you can use to unlock the Nail Gun. The crossbow and the knife are definitely very useful weapons, if you know how to use them, but the grenade launcher allows you to splat several enemies at the same time. Whatever works best for you.

Now for the second part – five eliminations in fifteen different completed matches. That means you have to get at least five eliminations in each of the fifteen matches, aka a minimum of seventy-five. It also means that scoring over five kills in one match still only counts as one step to unlock the Nail Gun in COD Warzone. If you, for example, get ten kills in a match, the game will still register it as five, as far as your progress towards the Nail Gun is concerned. It’ll be a tough road, make no mistake, so arm yourself with patience, and good luck.

Incidentally, you can also unlock the Nail Gun in Black Ops Cold War, in a challenge that’s specific to the Zombies mode. The challenge reads: “In Outbreak, get 25 Kills with Special Weapons in 12 different completed regions.” To complete a region, you have to do the main objective on the map.
