Will Warzone skins transfer to Warzone 2? This question has been bothering numerous veteran Warzone players who have been playing the original Warzone since its release. Many players have accumulated almost three years’ worth of skins, camos and other cosmetics acquired through battle passes, bundles, and events. Naturally, they want to know if they will be able to bring their camos and skins from Warzone 1 to Warzone 2. Read on as we explain everything you need to know about Warzone Skins carry-over.

We will not mince words here, so let’s just answer this question directly. No, unfortunately, your Warzone skins, camos, and other cosmetics will not carry over to Warzone 2. Warzone 2 is designed from the ground up as a brand-new and separate experience. Thus, its ecosystem will be completely new and separated from both Warzone 1 and other older Call of Duty games. However, Warzone 2 will share progress, unlocks, skins and other cosmetics with the two latest Call of Duty Games – Warzone Mobile and Modern Warfare 2.

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean all these years of content will be lost. Warzone will still be up and running, renamed Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera. In terms of the things you own, here’s what that means, as stated in the official blog post:

“Player progression, cross-progression for XP and Weapon XP, inventories, Battle Pass content, weapons, Store Bundles, and other purchases from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Call of Duty®: Vanguard will be accessible only within Warzone Caldera (and within their respective games)“

So there you have it, unfortunately, your Warzone skins will not carry over to Warzone 2. However, you will still be able to use everything you own in Warzone as described above. And if you love Caldera, Warzone 1 is here to stay and you can still fully enjoy that experience with all your favourite skins. In Warzone 2, however, you’ll have to start building your collection again.
