Cyberpunk 2077 Human Nature - Wait for The Car to Be Repaired

Human Nature is one of the quests in Cyberpunk 2077. You’ll get it after you start Act 2, by being instructed to get your car from the garage. When you do, one of Delamaine’s cars will immediately wreck it, and you’ll have to wait for the car to be repaired. It’s a long wait, and you’ll have to make do without a vehicle of your own in the meantime. Our Cyberpunk 2077 Human Nature guide will help you cope and show you what to do while you wait.

Wait for the car to be repaired Cyberpunk – Delamain wrecked the car

The instructions are spot on – you will just have to wait. And it’s a long wait, too – about ten real world hours worth of in-game time. Skipping time in the game won’t help. After the car is wrecked, be sure to follow up with Delamain in the Tune Up quest, so they can start the repairs.

So what to do in the meantime, carless and on foot? The truth is, you don’t have to be. If you complete the Heroes quest, you’ll get a motorcycle. You can steal cars from random passersby, provided you have enough tech to hijack them. You can also buy another car, if you have eddies burning a hole in your pocket. Fixers from around Night City will often call you up, telling you about a new car that’s on sale.

Why “Call Vehicle” button is colored red and anytime I press it nothing happens?

There are two reasons for the Call Vehicle button’s malfunction. Either you don’t have a car (you’re in the middle of the Human Nature quest and don’t have another ride), or you’re too far from the street.

Cyberpunk 2077 how to repair car when damaged

There’s no car mechanic in the game – at least not one whose services you could get. If you’ve damaged a stolen car, there’s nothing you can do but leave it. If it’s your ride we’re talking about, all you need to do is fast travel. Once you reach your destination, your ride will be as good as new.
