Cyberpunk 2077 Skippy Pistol Location

The Skippy Cyberpunk 2077 smart pistol is not just any smart gun that you can find in the game. No, no; Skippy comes with an AI assistant – a grinning bullet that’s just as dumb as Microsoft’s old office assistant, Clippy. However, when it closes its mouth, it can actually be a pretty useful gun, and even comes with a non-lethal option, where it merely cripples your enemies. With all that said, here’s our Cyberpunk 2077 Skippy Pistol Location guide to show where to find Skippy in CP2077.

Where to Find Skippy Cyberpunk 2077 Smart Pistol Location?

To find the Cyberpunk 2077 Skippy smart pistol location, you have to go into a nameless alley in Vista Del Rey, in Heywood. Basically, it’s right at one of the exclamation marks in the area. Unfortunately, it’s kinda difficult to put into words, because there are no particularly eye-catching landmarks around it. Take a gander at the screenshots below to see exactly where you need to go. There’s a dead body in that alley, with a case next to it, and that’s where Skippy is.

Once you figure out the location of the Cyberpunk 2077 Skippy pistol, you can actually have a conversation with it. Why? Because Skippy is actually the gun’s AI that’s hauntingly reminiscent of Clippy from ages gone. He is about as helpful and understanding of your questions as the accursed paper clip. As I am old enough to have met Clippy back in the day, I stared at Skippy with a mixture of amusement and rage. But enough about me; Skippy is, in all fairness, a really cool gun when it shuts up.

Skippy is a smart pistol in Cyberpunk 2077, which means that it has an automatic targeting system. It also has an auto-fire mode when the carrier is in critical danger. In other words, it’ll shoot people by itself. When you pick it up, at the end of the convo, you can choose between a pacifist mode, which targets limbs only, and the lethal mode, which goes straight for the head. It’s very useful, if you believe that you can actually trust it not to turn on you by accident.
