This is the weapon Farron’s Followers use in the Painted World. It’s not just a spear with long reach, you can also throw it. Luckily for us, it appears in our hands shortly after, making it perfect for long range fights. It is found close to the first Painted World of Ariandel bonfire. In order to acquire it, you’ll have to do a bit of falling, climbing and fighting. This guide will show you how to get Follower Javelin in Dark Souls 3.

Follower Javelin Location

As you start the DLC, you’ll be placed in the Painted World of Ariandel. From here, keep to your right all the time. You’ll encounter several enemies, some of which even use the Follower Javelin weapon. At the end of the first area, there is a snowy platform that collapses. Step on it.

Continue forward from the lower platform, following the right side. Soon enough, you’ll find yourself at the start of a long pathway. This is where you’ll want to stop and fight the wolves. Move forward but be mindful of the trees. Some of them are enemies. There are four enemies at the top of this path, and the item we are here for – Follower Javelin. From here, you can jump down. Once more, you’ll be at that first area after the starting bonfire.
