If you’ve watched the trailers, you’ve seen it on a knight wielding the black flame sword. You can get it around the mid-point of the DLC, but it’s easy to miss. This guide will show you where to find Vilhelm’s armor set in Ashes of Ariandel, its stats and what it looks like.

Vilhelm’s Set Location

You’ll find the set in the bloodfly-infested crypt below Ariandel Chapel. Spawn at the chapel bonfire, enter the foyer and go through the wooden door on the left. Go to the other side of the room, across the wooden bridge. Follow the stairs to the lower level of the crypt, where you’ll find a lair of bloodflies. Cross the room, and you’ll find the set on a corpse behind a pile of junk.

If you haven’t unlocked the door in the chapel yet, you’ll need to take the longer route to open it. It is accessed from the Snowy Mountains bonfire. If you need detailed directions with pictures, take a look at our Parting Flame guide.

Vilhelm’s Armor Set Stats & Description

Description:
The black helm of Vilhelm, Knight of Londor, and a nice fit for any lean Hollow. This hollow knight, who served the three sisters who founded the Sable Church, was particularly loyal to the eldest, and was known as a cold-blooded hangman.

It’s a medium weight set which offers great protection from dark damage. It also looks pretty amazing, with the dark-colored plate, the closed helmet and short cape. It’s reminiscent of what prince Ricard wore in the first game, and would look great with a rapier or another similarly pointy weapon.
