Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Pre-order Items now Free for All

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided pre-order items are now free for all. The offer includes: Covert Agent Pack, an extra in-game mission and digital books. The update is available for everyone who owns the game, regardless of the platform. If you didn’t pre-ordered the game, now you have a nice reason to get back to it.

Free Item List

The entries on the list were part of the pre-order and day-one deals:

  1. Covert Agent Pack – Contains a compilation of re-skins for Adam’s armor and trench coat, a re-skinned pistol and combat rifle, various ammunition packs, weapon upgrades…
  2. Extra in-game mission – A mission called Desperate Measures. Within this mission, you are set to find the person responsible for the train bombing in Ruzicka Station. It has around five objectives. It will take you to the Tarvos Security Services. Once there, you’ll have to confront Whittaker and search the IT Department.
  3. Digital Books – Digital comic book, mini artbook and novella. This 250 Mb downloadable pack comes in a zip file. You can find the link for download on the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided steam page. “The Dawning Darkness” is an eight page comic book. The mini artbook has twenty seven pages, with the designs of characters, concept art and more. James Swallow wrote the “Deus Ex: Hard Line” novella, a forty-four page book with a completely new story.

PC users will get these new updates with the patch v1.12, the latest update for the game. If you encounter any additional problems with this patch, you can roll back to the previous version available through steam. The patch includes the following changes:

  1. Fixes an issue where the weapon inventory bar would not be saved online.
  2. Fixes some crash issues occurring with specific save files from users.
  3. Quit Game option is now aligned with the other menu options.
